The American Legion H. U. Wood Post 245

AMERICAN LEGION SCHOLARSHIPS

American Legion - H. U. Wood Post 245 will give up to 6 Scholarships in 2012. The Scholarships will be awarded to eligible Graduating Seniors in Guadalupe County Schools, that are planning on attending college.

The applications need to be picked up at the American Legion Post,
located at 618 E. Kingsbury Street.

The completed applications must be returned to the American Legion Post by April 1^st.
Applications not received or post marked by April 1st will not be considered.

The applications will be reviewed by the Schoarship Committee and will coordinate with the Auxiliary Unit so that scholarships are not duplicated. Scholarship winners will be notified as soon as possible after all applications are reviewed. Scholarship recipients and their parents will be invited to the regular June meeting of Post 245, the first Thursday, at which time they will be introduced and will be awarded a certificate.
